That's what Creative Arlington is all about. We're devoted to fostering creativity, innovation, entertainment, and fun in the arts, in culture, in education, in business, in government, in the environment, in health, and in our community – in Arlington and elsewhere in Northern Virginia.
Creative Arlington provides both a virtual community – this one – and a real-life community of friends and colleagues who are involved in interesting things, interested in challenging issues and willing to share ideas and increase collaboration. CA is committed to growing our creative community, and growing businesses that serve, hire and leverage Arlington's talent and technology.
"What's in it for me?" As an individual, you get to meet other creatives, share your ideas, pose tough questions, and subject the issues you care most about to group analysis and problem-solving. As the site grows, you'll find member-led forums addressing a wide variety of issues where you can interact with people who, like you, really want to make things happen. You'll also get to attend events that draw this community together for parties and innovative discussions.
As a business, you get to find, interact with, and provide solutions for people who are making things happen in Arlington. We want to foster business and other projects that focus on what we call the "triple bottom line" (3BL) – people, planet, and profit. In other words, we want economic success and solutions that also have social and ecological benefits.
