Last night the County Board approved plans to use the old Newseum space for a new Arlington Cultural Center. This is big -- and good -- news for those who care about innovative economic development in the County. Now comes the tough and fun part: making this work as an engine of economic growth.
Congratulations to those who worked so hard to get this project off the ground, and to the many who showed up last night to support the project before the Board. We now need to find ways to have Creative Arlington lend its voice and talent to make this a huge success.
